William Bradley

Biographical Information[edit]

Will Bradley began his college playing career at Pratt Community College before transferring to the University of Central Missouri for his final two seasons. A second-team All-American as a senior, Bradley twice helped the UCM Mules to third-place finishes in the NCAA Division II World Series, earning a spot on the Regional All-Tournament team both times. In his senior season, Bradley set school single-season records with 13 triples and 66 games played. He finished his career with a .390 batting average, 17 home runs, 111 RBIs, and 34 stolen bases. Bradley's 17 career triples are the UCM career record, and his career batting average is the fifth-best in school history. In the classroom, Bradley earned a bachelor's degree in Physical Education in 2006 and a master's in Sports Administration in 2013.[1]

After exhausting his playing eligibility, Bradley joined the UCM coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach for the 2006-2007 seasons. In the summer of 2007 he was the head coach for the Ballwin Metro Collegians in the St. Louis Metro Collegiate Baseball League. Bradley joined the St. Louis University Billikens in the fall of 2007 as an assistant coach with a focus upon hitting. He stayed with the Billikens through the 2018 season.

Bradley moved into professional baseball coaching in 2019 as a hitting coach for the Burlington (IA) Bees in the Los Angeles Angels organization. He was scheduled to return to the Bees in 2020 before the minor league season was cancelled due to COVID-19. In 2021 Bradley was the hitting coach for the Tri-City Dust Devils. After the season he served in the same role with the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League.

The Tampa Bay Rays hired Bradley in 2022 as a hitting coach for their AAA affiliate, the legendary Durham Bulls. Bradley only stayed with the Bulls one season before the Rays promoted him to Minor League Hitting Coordinator. He continued in this role going into the 2025 season. In between, he also coached for the Australian national team in the 2023 World Baseball Classic and 2024 Premier 12.
