Biographical Information

Wesley Hoskins was on South Africa's provisional roster for the 2009 World Baseball Classic but did not make the final cut. He was initially listed as a reserve for South Africa in the 2009 Baseball World Cup but made the final roster. He went 1 for 6 with a run and an error, getting a start apiece at 1B and DH. His hit came off Miguel Gonzalez.

He was 1 for 4 with 3 walks and a run in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, leading South Africa in OBP. He got one start at DH in the 2017 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers and also pinch-hit once, going 0 for 3 with a run and a RBI.
