Biographical Information[edit]
Wen-Hsien Chang played in the TML for 6 years.
Chang represented Taiwan in the 1989 World Junior Championship and 1993 Universiade. He was signed by the Chianan Luka when they were founded in 1996, and he hit 234/.275/.274 in 59 games in 1997. His batting line was .242/.293/.342 in 1998, but he slumped to .198/.264/.267 in 1999. Chang bounced back soon in 2000 as he hit .289/.342/.390 with 17 doubles, and he won the TML Most Improved Player Award. He then had a .235/.298/.333 batting line in 2001, and he batted .242/.305/.350 in 71 games in 2002. Chang announced his retirement after the 2002 season.
Overall, Chang hit .250/.306/.342 with 269 hits and 7 homers in 6 seasons in the TML.
