Biographical Information

Wen-Cheng Lin pitched in the Taiwanese national team and the CPBL.

Liang represented Taiwan in the 1985 Intercontinental Cup and the 1987 World Port Tournament. He shutout Netherlands in the latter event. The Brother Elephants drafted Lin in the first round of 1990 CPBL Draft. The young pitcher was 3-7 with a 3.39 ERA in 1991, and participated in the All-Star game as a rookie. After his rookie season, Lin died because of a motorcycle accident in March 6, 1992.
