Biographical Information[edit]
Wei Chang played in the CPBL for 2 years.
Chang represented Taiwan in the 1993 Universiade. He was signed by the Brother Elephants in 1997, and he hit .111/.143/.111 in 23 games before the Elephants lent him to the China Times Eagles. He recorded a .227/.259/.270 batting line for them, and he was 2-for-15 in the 1997 Taiwan Series. The Eagles lost to the Wei Chuan Dragons in 6 games. Chang played 21 games with a .190/.261/.214 batting line after returning to the Elephants in 1998, then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Chang had hit .205/.244/.238 with 43 hits in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
