Biographical Information

Wei-Hua Wu had a brief career in the CPBL.

Wu was drafted by the EDA Rhinos in the 6th round of the 2016 CPBL Draft, but he refused to sign. The CTBC Brothers then took him in the 10th round of the 2017 CPBL Draft, and he had a 3.86 ERA in 11 games in the minors in 2018. He also made his CPBL debut in that season, but he couldn't retire any batters in 2 appearances. Wu then had a 7.71 ERA in 8 games in the minors 2019, then he went 1-5 with a 8.76 ERA in 2020. After having a 4.20 ERA in 14 games in 2021, the Brothers released him and his professional career ended.
