Biographical Information

Wei-Chen Pan pitched in the CPBL for 3 years.

Pan was drafted by the CTBC Brothers in the 5th round of the 2015 CPBL Draft, and he had a 0.82 ERA in 8 games in the minors in 2015. He also pitched 2 shutout innings in his first year with the big club. Pan struggled in 2016 as his ERA was 8.38 in 11 games in the major league, and he also had a 7.15 ERA in 18 games in the minors. He only pitched 3 games with the big club in 2017, and his ERA was 13.50. Pan then stayed in the minors for the next two seasons, and the Brothers released him in 2019.

Pan’s repertoire included a fastball (peak 91.3 mph) and knuckle curve.
