Biographical Information[edit]
Nicknamed "Skinny", Warren Gilbert played one year in the St. Louis Cardinals organization after serving in the Army during World War II. In 44 games with the Duluth Dukes in 1946, he hit .226/.257/.262. He fielded .946 in the outfield, with 8 assists in 40 games. Following baseball, he was a mechanic for many years.
