Biographical Information[edit]
Warner Fusselle was a broadcaster best known to fans as the host of the TV show This Week in Baseball. He succeeded Mel Allen in that role starting in 1996. He had previously been chief author of Baseball...a Laughing Matter!
Additionally, Fusselle was radio play-by-play announcer for the minor league Brooklyn Cyclones from their inception in 2001 to his death in 2012. He previously was a broadcaster for the Richmond Braves and Spartanburg Phillies, as well as St. John's University baseball, Seton Hall University basketball games, and the Virginia Squires of the American Basketball Association. He was also the announcer on many Major League Baseball Home Video highlight and blooper video cassettes in the early to mid 1990s.
