Biographical Information

Outfielder Walt Chipple played 18 games for the 1945 Washington Senators, hitting .136 with 5 RBI. He was one of several players tried in center field, where the most-used player was George Binks. Walt's minor league career stretched from 1939 to 1952. He saw action with Montreal from 1943-1944, the Williamsport from 1948-1949 and the Granby Phillies in 1952.
