Wait Till Next Year: A Memoir

From BR Bullpen

Wait Till Next Year: A Memoir is the memoir of Doris Kearns Goodwin, writing about her childhood and teenage years largely (but not entirely) through the lens of being a Brooklyn Dodgers fan. It was originally published in 1997. It details her encounters with Roy Campanella preaching inclusion at a church, giving her St. Michael's Medal to Gil Hodges as a good luck charm and of meeting Jackie Robinson and Clem Labine among others.
