She later wrote Wait Till Next Year: A Memoir (1997), a personal recollection about her childhood as a Brooklyn Dodgers fan. In addition, she has written books about Presidents John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
