Biographical Information

Vladimír Chlup managed the Eagles Praha in the Czech Extraliga and has also coached there. He coached for the Czech team in the 2009 European Junior Championship and managed them in the 2018 World University Championship, 2019 U-23 European Championship (winning the title) and 2021 U-23 Baseball World Cup. His son Marek Chlup has been on the Czech national team. Vladimir even played a bit in his 40s when he was a coach and a manager, going 2-1 with a save and a 5.19 ERA in 17 games from 2014-2019 for the Arrows Ostrava and Eagles Praha. In the 2017 CEB Cup, he allowed one run in 1 2/3 IP.
