Biographical Information[edit]

Virgilio Kaa set the career hit record in Panama's amateur league with 679. He also set the double record (126), was second in runs (443, behind Rodolfo Aparicio) and hit 100 homers, close to the record. He hit .342 and slugged .557 for his career. He played for the Panamanian national team in the 1994 Baseball World Cup, hitting .200/.259/.240 and playing error-free ball at 1B. He also was with them for the 1995 Pan American Games.
