Biographical Information[edit]
Virgil Wacks was a minor league executive.
Wacks played baseball in college and at the semipro level. He was elected mayor of St. Charles, VA in 1931 and was president of Mountain States League from 1948-1954. From 1957-1983, he ran the "Virgil Q. Wacks Varieties Show" on local television. He also worked as a stringer and correspondent for United Press International and the Associated Press.
