Vincent Ferreira has played for the Lions de Savigny-sur-Orge in Division Elite, and also as an infielder for the French National Baseball team. He was 7 for 21 with a double and 3 RBI in the 2003 European Championship, fielding .882 as their main third baseman despite being a teenager. Only Pierrick Lemestre and Gaspard Fessy had better averages for France in the event. He was 0-for-12 with a walk and fielded .786 at third in the 2003 Baseball World Cup, though.

Ferreira was 0 for 1 in the 2007 European Championship qualifier for the 2008 Olympics. In the 2007 Division Elite season, he hit .295/.396/.400 with 20 runs in 23 games as the third baseman for the Savigny Lions. During 2008, he batted .278/.402/.306 for Savigny; he had 18 passed balls in 27 games at catcher and fielded .881 in 18 games at third.
