Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Vincent Albury played the 1970 and 1971 seasons for Winter Haven, a Class A farm club of the Boston Red Sox in the Florida State League. He batted .238/.286/.267 in 99 games the first year, with 5 steals in 12 tries and no hits further than a double. He scored 22 runs only. He also fielded .912, his 12 errors tying Curtis Suchan for the most among FSL outfielders. In 1971, he fell to .194/.245/.236 in 56 games, though he played error-free ball. He hit .225/.274/.258 overall with no homers and 38 RBIs.
