Vince Doria

Vince Doria has been in sports journalism for about 40 years. A 1970 graduate of Ohio State, Doria worked for several newspapers, including being assistant sports editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer. He joined the Boston Globe in 1975 and remained there until 1988, serving as assistant managing editor. He was executive editor of The National Sports Daily from 1989-1991, then joined ESPN in 1992. He rose to be director of news at ESPN. He won the Red Smith Award in 2009.
