Vietnam (Vietnamese: Việt Nam), officially the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, is the easternmost nation on the Indochinese Peninsula. It borders China to the north, Laos to the northwest, and Cambodia to the southwest.

Pitcher Danny Graves was born in South Vietnam when it was still a divided nation. He later made a goodwill trip to Vietnam to reconnect with his roots and introduce the Vietnamese people to the sport of baseball.[1] John Liepa was also born here.
