Biographical Information

Valis McLean coached college baseball for over 35 years.

McLean was All-State in baseball and football in high school. He played baseball and basketball in college. After a brief stint as an assistant coach at Kansas State University, he became head coach of Allen Community College at age 23 and guided the program to over 1,000 wins in the next 36 years.
