Thanks for the suggestions. My collection of Baseball America almanacs go back to 1987, so I'll probably fill in the gaps here and there. My interest is primarily the International League and Governors' Cup, so that will be tackled first. --KidFlash25 22:15, 16 March 2009 (EDT)

I have Almanacs going back a little further and Baseball Guides dating to the late '60s. One great book for IL stats from 1887-1953 is The International League: Year-by-Year Statistics by Marshall Wright - --Mischa 08:51, 17 March 2009 (EDT)

Welcome. It is good to see people focus on minor leagues. I'm slowly (very slowly) working on the Carolina League team seasons (see:1987 Kinston Indians) for all the current teams. Once that project is through, I'm going to tackle the League seasons and all-star games. Once you're done with the league season pages, I encourage doing the team season pages. It's a great way to learn about the history of your favorite teams. Many IL players had to make it through the CL so we should have a lot of overlap with players. Thanks for the well-wishes and offers of support. I have the 2007 IL Record Book on the way from Ebay, and there are quite a few books available about the Red Wings, though none of note have been published since the team moved into Frontier Field in 1997. Still, most of the post-1997 info can be gleaned from online sources, so we'll see how long it takes me to tackle the seasons... --KidFlash25 16:08, 17 March 2009 (EDT)

Turns out the IL Record Book doesn't have the All-Star teams (outside of the 2006 one), though they do have playoff results and league leaders. The Rochester library has a copy of the Encyclopedia of Minor League Baseball, so I'm working through that at the moment. If anyone can add the All-Star Teams pre-1987, that would be great.
