I want to make a page for Charlie Garrett but was unclear if I have the right guy. I see a Charles Garrett playing from 1963-1965 and 1968-1969 - is this the right one? If so, why did he miss two years? Military service? Injury? - --Mischa 11:34, 12 March 2007 (EDT)
The Notable Achievements are a standardized list. If something is notable but not part of the list, put it in the body of the article. - --Mischa 12:13, 8 July 2007 (EDT)
Bullet points are okay for a random assortment of factoids (as with the Sammy Hairston entry) but I wouldn't advise changing sentences to bullet points. - --Mischa 20:17, 16 July 2007 (EDT)
Nice job on adding some information to the places pages. - --Mischa 19:29, 30 July 2007 (EDT)
The information regarding where a city is located can be very instructive, but I think its best left on the city's page, not on the page of the high school or college that is located there. --Jeff 22:31, 1 August 2007 (EDT)
What is your basis for the "Famous First" for Adrian Garrett? - --Mischa 19:46, 19 August 2007 (EDT)
Thanks for clarifying. I don't know if this is really famous enough - I'll put it to a vote. - --Mischa 08:25, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
MichaelEng is working on the "Settlements in..." section. It's an approved attempt to try to organize the "Places" category into smaller subsections. It's obviously in process. - --Mischa 20:19, 24 September 2007 (EDT)
Please don't put something under sources (like the SABR site) if it was not used as a source by the author of the article. Unless it was used as a source, it goes under Related Sites. - --Mischa 09:55, 11 August 2008 (EDT)
I'll try to be more clear. "Sources" are those sources the author(s) of the article consulted. If you are not the author of the article, there's no need to add anything there. Therefore, put links to SABR's database under the Related Sites heading. - --Mischa 12:50, 11 August 2008 (EDT)
Please see Talk:Long Island University, Brooklyn Campus. - --Mischa 14:51, 18 April 2010 (EDT)
The only edits I reverted lately were when you removed information from pages such as coaches for a couple colleges. - --Mischa 08:52, 21 April 2010 (EDT)
Once again, let me refer you to the Notable Achievements article. I just moved the information to the correct place in Halladay's biography. No need to get upset. --Philippe 14:03, 30 May 2010 (EDT)
Lee University[edit]
Lee University may have had a baseball program earlier, but it was discontinued. The current incarnation has only existed since the 1996-1997 school year. --Jeff (talk) 22:09, 27 April 2014 (EDT)
Why don't you make that distinction so that folks are not under the impression that the program started in 96-97? JaxJaguar (talk) 21:09, 1 May 2014 (EDT)
Until you pointed it out, I didn't know. The school records start in 1997, and it wasn't clear that there had previously been a team. --Jeff (talk) 00:01, 2 May 2014 (EDT)
