I have been doing some research for Bill Carle on birthdates. I have verified whitey ford, sam rice, and tony kubek and if you want my input, i can give you many more changes. I hope that you are receptive to these changes. I will notify Bill Carle in February of these.Bill Carle is not the only authority on this stuff. Thanks for adding me to the researchers list. I notice that Bob McConnell, who has probably written or edited more SABR publications than any living person, and has been affiliated with almost every committee is not listed. McConnell has atteneded every SABR Convention except 1 (1976) when I subsituted for him in giving a speech on baseball records. I have attended 34 in a row (all but first 2) and I look forward to attending this year. Please add McConnell (Mr. Research) to the list of researchers. He belongs. Also, enjoy the SABR Record Book.
