Biographical Information

Uri Shani has been on the Israeli national team.

He was 1-for-11 with two walks, two steals, two runs and two RBI in the 2021 European U18 Championship, playing all three outfield spots but mainly center. He made it to the senior team by the 2023 European Championship and got into two games. Against Switzerland, he was used as a pinch-runner for Benny Wanger. Versus Belgium, he replaced Robb Paller in left during a 11-8 win. He flew out facing Robbe De Boey in his lone at-bat.
