Universidad de Puerto Rico – Recinto de Río Piedras
La Universidad de Puerto Rico – Recinto de Río Piedras is the main campus of the University of Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1903 in Rio Piedras as the first public university in Puerto Rico, it later expanded to numerous branch campuses, with the first ones opening in 1967. Victor Acevedo, Rubén Gómez and Tony Hernández Massini went here and Gacho Torres taught here.
