Biographical Information

Umar Male and Ben Serunkuma were the first Ugandan players to sign with a MLB team when they were inked by the Los Angeles Dodgers in January 2022. While Serunkuma was a top reliever for the 2022 DSL Dodgers Bautista, Male hit .200/.333/.333 for the team; he did go deep twice in 45 at-bats and handled 18 chances error-free, mostly in left field.
