Ulysses Roque has played in the independent leagues and Belgium.

Roque had a 12-2, 2.20 record in college in 2008, being named Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year. He took the school to the 2008 NAIA College World Series. Turning pro, Ulysses pitched for the Southern Illinois Miners (0-2, 5.25) and Pensacola Pelicans (1-0, 3.77). He spent all of 2009 with Pensacola, going 4-5 with a 4.09 ERA. He split 2010 between the Traverse City Beach Bums (0-2, 11.57), Sussex Skyhawks (3.97) and Winnipeg Goldeyes (0-1, 6.08). For 2011, he signed with Belgium's Brasschaat Braves. He was their Opening Day starter on April 9 but lost a 5-4 decision to the Royal Greys.
