Biographical Information

Tzu-Yao Yen pitched in the CPBL for 3 years.

Yen was drafted by the Chinatrust Whales in the third round of the 2002 CPBL Draft, and he was 1-1 with a 3.13 ERA in his rookie year. He improved to a 2.88 ERA in 20 games in 2003, but his ERA rose to 9.82 in 7 games in 2004. Yen announced his retirement after the 2004 season.

Overall, Yen was 2-2 with a 3.59 ERA, struck out 26 and pitched 80 1/3 innings in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
