Biographical Information

Tzu-En Tung played in the CPBL. His brother Tzu-Hao Tung and cousin Ping-Hsuan Tung both played in the CPBL.

Tung represented Taiwan in the 2018 U-15 Baseball World Cup, hitting .348/.464/.391. He was drafted by the Fubon Guardians in the 3rd round of the 2021 CPBL Draft, and he debuted against the Wei Chuan Dragons on November 9. Tung set the CPBL record as he didn't get a strikeout for 45 consecutive at-bats from his debut, and he ended up hitting .297/.381/.405 with the big club in 2021. He had a .231/.340/.275 batting line in 2022, but he mainly stayed in the minors in 2023 as he only played 5 games with the big club; his batting line was .336/.382/.414 in the minors.
