Biographical Information[edit]

C/1B Tyson Blaser played in the New York Yankees' chain from 2011 to 2014. He reached AA but averaged only 31 games played per year.

Blaser was baseball coach and history teacher at United Township High School during the 2015/2016 academic year. He joined the New York Yankees organization in 2017 as the bullpen coach with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Blaser spent the next two seasons as a defensive coach for the Staten Island Yankees. He was scheduled for his first managerial post in 2020 with the Pulaski Yankees but the minor league season was cancelled due to COVID-19. In 2021 he managed the FCL Yankees followed by the Hudson Valley Renegades in 2022.
