Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Tyler Gagnon pitched in the Colorado Rockies minor league system from 2009 to 2014. He was taken by the club in the 15th round of the 2009 amateur draft.

He had a 6.19 ERA in 13 relief appearances for the Casper Ghosts in 2009. In 2010, he went 5-3 with a 3.89 ERA in 15 starts for Casper and in 2011, he was 4-3 with a 2.57 ERA in 14 starts for the Tri-City Dust Devils. He was 2-2 with a 2.98 ERA in 13 games (6 starts) split between the Dust Devils and Asheville Tourists in 2012 and in 2013, he was 12-10 with a 5.50 ERA in 28 starts for the Modesto Nuts. He began 2014 with Modesto where he was 0-2, 3.32 largely as a reliever. He also made four starts for Tri-City, but those went poorly, with a record of 0-3, 6.23 with only 6 Ks in 17 1/3 innings. Between the clubs, he was 0-5 with a 4.15 ERA in 22 games (seven starts).

Overall, Gagnon went 23-24 with a 4.29 ERA in 105 games (70 starts).

His brother is Drew Gagnon.
