Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Tyler Danish began his professional career in 2013.

Danish had a 15-1, 0.00 record and fanned 156 in 94 innings as a high school senior; Louisville Slugger named him National High School Player of the Year. He was taken by the Chicago White Sox in the 2nd round of the 2013 amateur draft. The scout was Joe Siers. Between the Bristol White Sox and Kannapolis Intimidators that year, he went 1-0 with a 1.20 ERA in 30 innings pitched. He was 8-3 with a 2.08 ERA in 25 starts between the Intimidators (3-0 W-L, 0.71 ERA, 7 GS) and Winston-Salem Dash (5-3 W-L, 2.65 ERA, 18 GS). In 129 1/3 innings, he allowed only 115 hits and 33 walks. Entering 2015, he was named the #7 prospect in the White Sox system by Baseball America. He spent the season with the Birmingham Barons, going 8-12, 4.50 in 26 games, all starts, and 142 innings.

Tyler recorded his first career win against the Detroit Tigers, 4-3, in the first game of a doubleheader on May 27, 2017.
