Biographical Information

Pitcher Tyler Burch began his professional career in 2019. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Phillies. Between the GCL Phillies West and Williamsport Crosscutters in 2019, he went 4-1 with a 1.51 ERA in 12 games (4 starts). On June 26th, he was the final pitcher in a no-hitter against the GCL Phillies East. The first three pitchers in that game were Brandon Ramey, Hsin-Chieh Lin and Brian Marconi. He played for the Adelaide Giants of the Australian Baseball League in 2020-21, posting a 0-1 record and a 16.20 ERA in 3 starts. In 2021, he went 5-3 with a 4.12 ERA in 35 relief appearances, striking out 64 batters in 43 2/3 innings between four clubs. On July 30th, he was traded to the Baltimore Orioles for infielder Freddy Galvis.
