Biographical Information[edit]

Harold Raymond spent two years in the minor leagues, 1950 and 1951. With the Clarksdale Planters in 1950, he hit .259 with 2 home runs in 80 games. With the Flint Arrows in 1951, he hit .192 in 21 games.

He later became head coach at the University of Maine (1952-1953) and the University of Delaware (1956-1964), going a combined 164–72–3. He is more well known for his tenure as Delaware's head football coach, serving in that capacity from 1966 to 2001. He was 300–119–3 as a football coach.
