Biographical Information[edit]

Tsung-Kwei Chang played in the TML, CPBL and for the Chinese Taipei national baseball team.

Chang represented Taiwan in the 1991 World Youth Championship, 1994 World Junior Championship and 1997 Asian Championship. He blasted a grand slam against China in the Asian Championship. The Chianan Luka selected Chang in the first round of the 1999 TML draft. He only played six games in the 1999 season, but soon secured the starting 3rd baseman spot of the Luka in 2000. Chang hit .274/.296/.389 with 3 homers and 3 triples, and was selected into the All-Star Game. Chang extended his good work, as he hit .255/.325/.340 and .284/.316/.344 respectively in the next two seasons, and won the Best Ten award in the 2002 season. When the two leagues merged in 2003, Chang was assigned to the Macota Gida, but he didn't hit well. The Gida released Chang after he recorded a .211/.264/.285 batting line, and that ended his career.

Overall, Chang had hit .256/.299/.339 in five seasons in the CPBL and TML.
