Biographical Information[edit]
Tsuneo Ikeda, as writer and chief editor for Baseball World starting in the 1930's, promoted baseball and was credited with introducing baseball to the Soviet Union. He founded Baseball Magazine in the 1940s.
Ikeda was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989.
