Biographival Information[edit]
Trip Couch has been a college assistant coach and a scout.
Couch was an assistant at Louisiana-Lafayette (1991-1992) and the University of Houston (1995-2000), then spent a year at the University of Texas. He was also business manager for Team USA's college edition in 1999. In 2002, he became an Arizona Diamondbacks scout and signed Paul Goldschmidt, Wade Miley, Garrett Mock and Chris Snyder. He then returned to Houston as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator from 2011 to 2017. Couch was an assistant at University of South Carolina from 2018-2021, then joined University of Arizona in 2022.
