Biographical Information[edit]
Trino Aguilar played briefly in Organized Baseball then spent several seasons in the independent leagues, hitting .322 one year and stealing 23 bases while hitting 16 home runs another.
In 1995, while attending school in Syracuse, New York, Aguilar played with his brothers Rafael and Luis for Nottingham High School. That season, Aguilar pitched a no hitter for the Nottingham Bulldogs but still lost the game. [citation needed]
Trino Aguilar was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2000 and was the offensive leader for the Mariara club of the VSL. He was traded from the Phillies to the San Diego Padres for Major League Pitcher Clay Condrey. Aguilar later played several seasons for the Pensacola Pelicans of the Independent American Association.
Aguilar became a manager for the VSL Phillies in 2012-2013.
