Biographical Information[edit]
Trey Hannam played college ball at Illinois Central College and the University of Illinois at Springfield from 2014-2017. After college he played two seasons in the Empire League with the Puerto Rico Islanders (2017) and New York Bucks (2018).
Hannam moved into coaching by founding Trey Hamman Training to provide individualized instruction. In addition, Hannam worked as the hitting coach for the Western Illinois University Leathernecks in 2019.
The New York Mets hired Hannam for a hitting coach position with the Kingsport Mets in 2020 before COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the minor league season.
