Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Trevor Seidenberger was a 12th round selection by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2013 amateur draft, out of Texas Christian University. He made his professional debut that same year with the Helena Brewers of the Pioneer League, going 0-1, 6.75 in 10 games. In 2014, he made 31 appearances, all as a reliever, between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers of the Midwest League and the Brevard County Manatees of the Florida State League. His ERA was a sparkling 1.59 with Wisconsin, but a much less stellar 8.79 in Florida. His combined line read 6-2, 3.50 with 1 save and 55 Ks in 54 innings. In 2015, he started the year back at Brevard County and did much better, going 4-2, 3.06 in 22 games. This earned him a promotion to the Biloxi Shuckers of the Southern League, when he pitched another 8 times, but his ERA was 6.75. Overall, he went 5-2, 4.07 with 5 saves in 30 games, with 48 strikeouts in 48 2/3 innings.

On January 28, 2016, he was traded to the San Diego Padres in return for OF Rymer Liriano.
