Biographical Information[edit]

Second baseman Travis Hake played in the Milwaukee Brewers system in 2000 and 2001 and in the independent Atlantic League from 2005 to 2007. He was taken by the Brewers in the 27th round of the 2000 amateur draft, a couple picks after outfielder Kevin Reese.

He hit .300/.385/.457 with 19 stolen bases in 50 games for the Helena Brewers his first year, but slipped to .200 in 15 at-bats the next campaign. He was then out of pro baseball from 2002 to 2004. Mounting a comeback, he hit .295/.360/.389 with 42 steals, 91 runs scored and 32 doubles in 131 games for the Lancaster Barnstormers in 2005, but fell to .241 in 2006 and .233 in 2007 (with 18 and 4 steals, respectively) to wrap up his career.

Overall, he hit .274/.349/.365 with 83 stolen bases in 314 games over 5 seasons.
