Biographical Information

Toshihito Abe debuted in Nippon Pro Baseball in 2011. Abe was MVP of the Sendai Big Six University League in the summer of 2010, then was picked by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the third round of the 2010 NPB draft. He made his NPB debut on May 1, as a defensive sub for former major leaguer Akinori Iwamura at third base. Abe went 0 for 2 with a strikeout.
