Biographical Information[edit]
Tony Cappuccilli received a masters degreee in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine in 2010. He then worked as an assistant coach for Edison High School (Huntington Beach) and Irvine Valley College before serving as volunteer assistant coach for the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2013-2014 and the University of New Mexico in 2014-2017.
In 2017, he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers as a minor league coach and worked for them until December 2021 when he was hired by the Detroit Tigers. He managed the ACL Dodgers in 2021. Tony Cappuccilli was bench coach of the Toledo Mud Hens in 2022-2023, then managed the West Michigan Whitecaps in 2024.
