Biographical Information[edit]

Tommy Johns, who was born in Baltimore, MD and died in Baltimore, MD, got into one game with the Baltimore Marylands of 1873, a team that went 0-6 that year. He is the brother of Richard Johns, whose umpiring career also lasted only a single game that same year.

After baseball, he owned a construction company that worked on a number of important buildings in Baltimore and elsewhere in Maryland.
