Biographical Information[edit]
Fleet-footed outfielder Tommy Gray spent two seasons with the Richmond Tigers. The first season, 1949, he slashed .278/.347/.392 with 15 triples, 20 stolen bases and 92 runs scored in 128 games; in 1950, he hit .324 with 18 triples and 27 steals in 120 games. Overall, Gray hit .299 with 33 triples and 47 swipes in his brief career.
