Tom Keough was the brother of Marty Keough and Joe Keough and the uncle of Matt Keough. In college, Tom hit .400 in 1952 and .396 in 1953. He was an All-American outfielder in 1952. He also played football, appearing in the 1951 Rose Bowl. Tom had a very brief pro career, getting 11 at-bats for the 1954 San Jose Red Sox.
