Tom Erasmus

Tom Erasmus played for Team Canada in the 1979 Pan American Games. A member of the Goodfish Lake First Nation, he completed high school, rare for aboriginal Albertans of his age. He later coached for the Canadian junior national team (including in the 1984 World Junior Championship), then was a business consultant in Edmonton. He worked with Alberta officials to improve education for aboriginal students in the province.
