Biographical Information[edit]
Tom Dodd was at the University of Oregon from 1977-1979 and was taken in the secondary phase of the January 1980 amateur draft by the New York Yankees. In the minors, he was in the Yankees organization, the Chicago White Sox organization, the Toronto Blue Jays organization and the Baltimore Orioles organization before coming up to the parent Orioles club for 8 games in 1986. He then had a great season with the Charlotte O's in 1987, when he was named the MVP of the Southern League.
Dodd married Kim Herring Dodd on October 25, 1986, and the couple have 3 children: Tucker Anderson, Kaleigh Elizabeth and Davis Stanford.
