Biographical Information[edit]
Tom Dixon went 13-4 with an International League-leading 2.25 ERA and 6 shutouts for the Charleston Charlies in 1977. Pitching for the Houston Astros, he threw a 5-hit complete game against the St. Louis Cardinals for his first win on August 6, 1977. His RBI single was a game-winner in the 14th inning against the New York Mets on May 12, 1978. He also led the 1981 International League with 11 complete games (tied with Tom Brennan).
