Tom Baker started one game in his brief major league career. It was on August 17, 1963 for the Chicago Cubs against the Cincinnati Reds. He pitched 6 innings and gave up 7 hits, 2 unearned runs, walked 2 and struck out 4. The unearned runs were the result of an error by Cubs shortstop Andre Rodgers.
